Students attend one or two music classes per week. Music classes are integrated as far as possible with the IPC units taught in Kindergarten to Grade 3. There is a focus on developing rythmn, harmony, sight reading skills and an appreciation of various genres. In Grades 4 and 5 students elect a musical discipline and are taught either violin, guitar or percussion and vocal skills.

Grade 6 - 10 students attend one music class per week. In Grades 9 and 10 students choose between art or music classes. These classes are used to develop the fundamental skills students will need if they opt to do music as a formal exam course in Grades 11 and 12. If students opt for music as a subject in Grades 11 and 12 they attend classes five times a week and will have the option to do a London College of Music exam.
