Music

Music is taught from Nursery to Grade 12.

From nursery to Grade 3, students are taught as a class group by a trained and experienced music teacher. The focus is on developing rythmn and melody, basic sight reading skills, and appreciation of music from different genres and cultures.

Playing recorder

From Grade 4 - 12 students may elect to learn to play the violin or guitar, or develop vocal skills. Instruments are provided by the school. In time, students are encouraged to purchase their own instruments in order to proceed faster in their development. Music lessons are taught by English-speaking Music teachers and are offered once a week.
